Close-up of one of the transparent cereus flowers; this was made using an original design drawn on water-soluble stabilizer, then tulle was placed on top and both layers were slid under the needle of my sewing machine and an embroidery hoop snapped around it to keep it stable; then I machine-embroidered over my drawn design.
I sew with an old Riccar sewing machine I got from my mom; it’s not as fancy as one of these new Bernina’s that cost about as much as a Lexus, but, it’s very deptendable.
